Don’t despair because here is something you can do.
Format pendrive using cmd is a common process that may need to be undertaken quite frequently, but unless you have gone through this procedure before it can be a mine field.
You might format your pen drive many times because of viruses. Some kind of viruses never get delete by normal formatting.
Here is a quick step by step guide to Format pendrive using cmd.
Format a Pendrive Using CMD
Fallow this simple step :-
1 - Once you are in your desktop insert Pendrive into USB port.
Note - If you know the letters associated with your disk locations.
2 - Press (Window + R) and type CMD hit Enter key.
3 - Go Task bar select Cmd. Right Click to Command Prompt and select Run and administrator.
4 - Type "Format I:" hit Enter key and start formating.
Note - For example “I: removable storage device ” if the device does not show up you may need to test the port to find the letter with another USB device.
You have completed the process of Formating pendrive using cmd; go back into my computer to check that the formatting has been completed successfully.
